Plasti AI ("Plasti AI," "we," "us," or "our") is an AI-powered personal-development app published by Chacon Enterprises. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Plasti AI mobile app and plastiai.com (together, the "Service"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
The short version
- We collect what we need to create your account and personalize your audio, affirmations, and journal.
- We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- Voice cloning is optional. Your 30-second recording is used only to train your voice model, the raw recording is not retained on our servers, and you can delete your voice at any time.
- You can delete your content or your entire account at any time from within the app.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information: your name and email address (or the Apple or Google sign-in identifier you choose), used to create and secure your account.
- Your goals and preferences: the identity, goals, struggles, voice, and tone you tell us during onboarding and in settings, used to personalize what the app generates.
- Your content: journal entries, gratitude notes, mood tags, and the affirmations you save (your "Wall").
- Voice recording (optional): if you opt into voice cloning, a short voice sample of about 30 seconds.
- Support and creator messages: anything you send us through in-app support, the website, or a creator application, including any social or portfolio links you choose to share.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: product interactions such as sessions played, streaks, and feature use, used to operate and improve the Service.
- Diagnostics: crash and performance data collected through Sentry to keep the app stable. This is not linked to your identity.
- Analytics: aggregated product analytics through PostHog to understand how features are used.
- Identifiers: a Supabase user ID that ties your data to your account.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your full payment details. We use RevenueCat to manage and verify your subscription status.
How we use your information
- To create your account and provide the Service.
- To generate and personalize your visualizations, affirmations, tapes, subliminals, and journal prompts.
- To remember your goals so the content gets more relevant over time.
- To provide support and respond to your messages.
- To keep the Service secure, debug problems, and improve features.
- To comply with legal obligations.
AI processing
Plasti AI uses third-party AI services to create your sessions. To generate a script we send relevant inputs (such as your goal and chosen tone) to our language-model provider (OpenAI). To turn that script into audio we use a text-to-speech provider (ElevenLabs, and Fish Audio for your cloned voice). These providers process your content only to return your generated result. We do not permit them to use your content to train their general models where that option is available to us.
Voice cloning and your voice data
Voice cloning is strictly opt-in. If you choose to use it:
- Your voice sample is sent to our voice partner (Fish Audio) only to train a voice model for your account.
- The raw recording is not retained on our servers. Only the resulting trained voice model identifier is stored on your profile.
- You can delete your voice model at any time in Settings, in one tap.
- You may only record your own voice, or a voice you have the legal right and consent to use.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers (subprocessors) who run the Service on our behalf, under contract: Supabase (database, authentication, and storage), OpenAI (script generation), ElevenLabs and Fish Audio (voice generation and cloning), Sentry (crash and performance monitoring), PostHog (product analytics), RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple (payments and sign-in), and Resend (transactional email).
- Legal reasons: if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the Service.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you where required.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete content or your account, we remove the associated personal data from our active systems, except where we must retain limited information to meet legal, security, or accounting obligations. Backups are purged on a rolling schedule.
Your rights and choices
- Access and correction: you can view and update your account information and content in the app.
- Deletion: you can delete individual content, your voice model, or your entire account from Settings. Deleting your account removes your personal data from our systems.
- Communications: you can turn off notifications in your device settings.
- Regional rights: depending on where you live, for example under GDPR or the CCPA, you may have additional rights to access, port, restrict, or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local authority. To exercise these, email us at the address below.
Security
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security on our database to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to limit who can access it.
Children's privacy
Plasti AI is rated 4+ but is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
International users
We operate in the United States and our providers may process data there and in other countries. By using the Service you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data-protection laws than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
